Herbert Lee Feltner, 90 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his home.

Herb was born in 1934 in Clarke County, VA, the son of the late John and Blanche Feltner. He served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War in the Navy Jet Squadron as an Airdale. Herb was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church since 1975 and was the church bus driver for 11 years. He loved buying and restoring Ford tractors, going to auctions and yard sales. Herb especially enjoyed hunting with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Frances whom he married on February 12, 1956; sons, Mark Feltner (Linda), Scott Feltner, Glen Feltner (Tina); 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Madge Shelly, Dorothy “Tootie” Loy, Linda Pugh, Sharon Shores and his brothers, Alfred, Roger and Gary Feltner.

In addition to his parents, Herb is preceded in death by his son, Rodney Feltner and his brothers, Jack, Bruce and Dougie Feltner.

A visitation will be held for Herb on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 11am to 1pm with a service to be conducted at 1pm all held at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service at Mount Olive Cemetery. Pastor Luke Shope and Pastor Greg Miller will officiate.
