Helen L. Frick (Cosner), age 79, of Lake Frederick, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1947, in Gormania, West Virginia, Helen was the daughter of the late Luther Cosner and Betty (Hanlin) Cosner. She went on to earn her GED and built a dedicated career as an office manager for C. D. Frick Builders Inc. until her retirement.

On August 18, 1997, Helen married Charles D. Frick in Frederick, Maryland. Together they shared a wonderful life filled with warm memories. Helen had a bright spirit and loved traveling to new places and spending time on the golf course.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles D. Frick; her daughter, Janice Curbow; her son, David Helmick, Jr.; five grandchildren, Jessica “Jessie” Curtis and husband, Michael, Chase Curbow, Tyler Helmick, Aaron and Kathryn Reynolds; six great-grandchildren, James Curtis, Owen and Brennan Reynolds, James, Scott, Lincoln Goode; and her brother, Leon Cosner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald, and Leroy Cosner.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
