Helen Jeanette Kerling-Alexander, 73, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.

Ms. Kerling-Alexander was born in 1945 in Sutton, West Virginia, the daughter of the late John and Delta Mollohan. She retired from a long career at Brooks Brothers Department Store and worked side by side with her sister, Sue, as an interior designer.

Surviving is her constant companion of 25 years and soulmate, Richard Brown Alexander, a Vietnam veteran and a successful international consultant; sisters, Vera Wilson of Buchanan, West Virginia, Mary Lou Lemon of St. Albans, West Virginia; Sue Johnson of Calabash, North Carolina, and Florence Lunceford of Flat Woods, West Virginia; and many loving nieces and nephews.

To Sue, Tim and all the family, my heart is broke to learn of Jeanette's passing. I have nothing but the brightest, happy memories of her and she was always able to get a laugh and smile out of you. So very sorry for your loss. My love and hugs to all.

Dick, Sue and family I am very sorry for your loss. Jeanette was my rock when I needed friends the most. We shared so many good times together over the years— laughing, talking, shopping and some wonderful trips to CA, New Orleans etc. She liked redecorating my house when we lived in VA and always had great ideas.
