Harold Albert Curry
Mr. Harold Albert Curry, 92, of Warren County, VA died Saturday, June 18, 2016 in Warren Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Curry was born in 1923 in Dubois, Pennsylvania, the son of the late George F. and Mariam R. Curry. He graduated from Sandy Township High School, Class of 1940. Harold was a veteran of the United States Army Air Force achieving the rank of Corporal. Mr. Curry worked as a Pressman for the Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. and was of the Methodist faith. Harold was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He can be forever remembered for his love of all animals especially his dogs, the great outdoors and of course his one of kind sense of humor. Harold Curry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His wife, Jean Marie Warnick, whom he married in 1943 in Madison Wisconsin preceded him in death on December 5, 2013.
Surviving are sons, Greg Curry and his companion Mava Marston of Hampton, Georgia and Bradley Curry and his wife Constance of Front Royal, Virginia; daughter, Paula Bispo and her husband John of Woodstock, Virginia; sister, Dana Hetrick of Sebring, Florida; five grandchildren. several great grandchildren as well as many extended family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George Maxwell Curry of Ohio.
All services will be private, arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
