Getty, was not only my mother n law for over 20 yrs,she was a dear friend. She was one of the most loving, caring, and giving person I have ever known.A true gift from God.Her generosity and kindness and her strong faith in the Lord was amazing.Together we shared so many wonderful times and my memories of her will stay in my heart forever.Getty never missed anyones birthday, and she made everyones Christmas as we would start in Oct because of her long list.I have never wrapped so many gifts in my life, and decorating her Tree was a joy.She would sit on the couch, listen to opera and tell me where I would miss a spot. With laughter, I would tell her that I was not finished yet.I know that gave her much joy,and I was happy to do it because she did so much for me. David,DeeDee,,Lindsay and all of her grandchildren ,we all were truly blessed and at this sad time, may all of us feel the hand of God .I love and adored you GETTY and our memories will last forever in my heart.Heaven received an Angel .Enjoy your wings. I love you Getty always and forever.....Kathy ,

Dave, Lindsay, and Dee Dee, I consider myself one of the luckiest little boys in the world when our family moved next to yours. Your mom took care of me on so many occasions and I know for a fact she kept my old friend Bill from really giving me the business for some errors in judgement David and I may have had. When it's my time, I plan on having cinnamon toast and a good laugh with her, and maybe later a martini with Bill. Great memories of a wonderful woman. Rick

DeeDee -- you and your family continue to be in our prayers. You were the midwives who helped your mother into her next birth. Now, may good memories flow and be the balm for the void her death leaves. Blessings to you all; and peace … in time.

Getty was such a wonderful woman. Her faithful attendance at Mass at Sacred Heart Church, where we would often chat, was an inspiration to us and our children. We are so sorry to miss the funeral services as we are in Rome, but will offer special prayers for the repose of her soul and the consolation of her family at St. Peter's Basilica.

My deepest sympathies go out to Dave and his family. As a former employee,I remember Mr. and Mrs. Huntsberry coming into Schenck Foods and they always had the time to talk to the employees. They really made the people who worked for them feel like part of a family.Later,I remember speaking to Mrs. Huntberry many times that she visitted and she was ALWAYS so pleasant every time.Again,to all the Huntsberry family,my sincere condolences.

I enjoyed getting to know Gordette when she visited the Schencks next door to us on Mosby St. as well as when I worked at Schenck's in the summers. She was always very kind to the Stotler family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless!
