Gary Jacob Wisecarver, 76 of Wardensville, WV, passed peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Winchester Medical Center after a short illness.

Gary was preceded in death by his father and mother, Oliver and Sarah Josephine Wisecarver, a twin brother, Terry, 4 sisters, Kimberly, Debbie, Sharon, and Denise.
Surviving is his wife, Regina (Poling) Wisecarver, son, Gary Jason Wisecarver and daughter, Danielle Wisecarver Cheshire; granddaughter, Emma Wisecarver; 3 sisters, Darlene, Brenda and Pammy and 1 brother, Oliver, Jr.

Gary was a devoted, loyal and humble man who lived his life needing three things: faith, family and friends. His daughter, Danielle described her father as a good-hearted man who was the sweetest and most thoughtful man she knew. Granddaughter Emma said her Paw-Paw, always put others first and always made friends along the way.

A visitation will be held for Gary on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 6pm to 9pm with a service the following day, Friday, June 7, 2024, at 2pm all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Vernon Bray.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Jason Wisecarver, Todd Robertson, Patrick Ferguson, Garris Poling, Jr., Issac Godlove, Zachary Godlove, Bryer Parker and Bradley Wilkins.
