Franklin E. Price, 90 of Charles Town, WV, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Hospice of the Panhandle.

Frank was born in 1935 in Brucetown, VA, the son of the late, Russell and Ethel Price. He worked in carpentry and helped build Sterling Park homes. Later in life he became a horseman and worked at several farms and tried his hand at horse racing. Franklin loved horses, bingo and playing cards.

He married Frances Lloyd Ballenger on September 1, 1967, and she preceded him in death on March 18, 2022.

Frank is survived by his sons, Frank Price and partner Patty Kanney, Gary Price and wife, Toni; daughter, Sherry Price Barb and husband Frank Barb; sister, Peggy Price Corbin and husband, Charles; stepdaughter, Frances Pipes and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and great great great-grandson.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Price; stepdaughter, Linda Lou Murphy and stepson, Randall Ballenger.

A memorial service will be held for Frank on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:30am at Memorial United Methodist Church of Summit Point. Pastor Donald McCallister will officiate.
