Federico Gallegos Valadez born January 31, 1940 in Alpine, Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 28, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He served 20 years in the United States Army from 1959-1979 including a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a proud Army and Vietnam Veteran, earning several medals and honors until retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class. He served as a Federal Civil Service employee for another 25 years. He is survived by his loving, loyal and dedicated wife of 55 years Heide Ingrid Keth Valadez their three children Juanita, Federico Jr., Carlos and two grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that each of you spend more fun times as a family while loving one another a little stronger and hugging each other a little longer because life is so very precious and short.
