Ernie had a remarkable life and overcame many physical obstacles. Throughout his life he was an inspiration to his family and the people he met and the many lives he touched with the stories he shared about his life. He turned his many physical struggles into victories, The stories he shared, and he always had time to tell a story, captivated those who took the time to listen. He truly enjoyed talking about his life and family. Spending time and being with his family was always what he wanted to do.
Ernie was a big NASCAR fan and would watch all the races with enthusiasm each week. And when football season was here, you could find him watching his favorite teams. Although Ernie considered himself a master of the outdoor grill he enjoyed indoor cooking just as much and would always get the family involved in the kitchen. He always had time to listen and be there for those who needed him
Ernie will be missed by those who knew him. He loved the Lord and was faithful all his life, and he would want us to remember, “Trust in the Lord with all your Heart” (Proverbs 3:5) and to remember to always “Love one another, for love comes from God” (1 John 4:7)
You will be missed.
