Emmeleen L. Cave
Emmeleen L. Cave, 79, of Winchester, Virginia, died March 2, 2015, at the Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Cave was born in 1935, in Cherry Grove, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mona Arbogast. She was employed at Winchester Medical Center as a cold food cook, retiring in April 2006.
Her husband, Guy Richard Cave, whom she married on January 27, 1957, preceded her in death on September 16, 1985.
Mrs. Cave is survived by her four daughters, Pamela Straley (Howard), Lois Holt, Christine Linaburg (Frank), and Becky Walton (Matthew); her two sons, Thomas Cave (Teresa) and Bradley Cave (Ray), ten grandchildren, Jessica Taylor (Travis), Stephanie Linaburg, Kenneth Cave (April), Travis Gongaware, Justin Gongaware, Shannon Straley, Jessica Holt (Dustin), Justin Linaburg (Christy), Josh Constable (Tiffany) and Austin Gongaware; eight great grandchildren and her sister, Ruby Bonnell.
Mrs. Cave was preceded in death by her sisters, Ada Nelson, Bonnie McClure, and Katherine Arbogast as well as her brothers, Dempsey, Junior, Jesse, Weldon, and Keith Arbogast.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, 2015, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, as well as on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the Lohr and Barb Funeral Home in Elkins, West Virginia.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2015, with the Pastor Ron Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Gladys Cemetery, Glady, West Virginia.
