Clifton Graham left a message on March 10, 2014:
I received word today that my friend, Butch Ganoe had passed away earlier this week. I must say that the news caught me by surprise and hit me pretty hard. You see Mr. Butch just recently called me out of the wild blue, too see how I was doing. We talked for a good hour or so. He had found a card with my name and number on it, and said that's Clifton Graham, I need to call him, so he did. The last time I had talked to him was in the late 1990's as my Bayer Virginia assignment had ended and I was transferred back to Texas. We reminisced for a while on the phone, and before we hung up, Butch asked me if I would call him back in the near future. I told him I would, and I did this past Christmas. Butch was surprised that I had called him back, but I told him I would, and I did out of respect for a great friend. Butch looked "rough around the edges", but he was a "Teddy Bear" at heart and would unselfishly do anything for you. I will miss you Mr. Butch, but I cherish the memories I have of working with you and the "Friendship" that we shared. Rest peacefully my friend. Regards, Clifton Graham
