Earl H. Watkins, 84, Mechanicsville, VA died July 4, 2019, at home. He was born May 23, 1935 in Stoney Creek Township, Somerset, PA to the late Clarence and Elsie (Walker) Watkins.
He was married for 60 years to his wife Lois S. Watkins. He worked in his early years on a farm owned by Emerson Knepper and later worked at a service station in Woodbridge, VA where he was offered an opportunity to obtain an Esso station in Stephens City, VA. He later purchased another Esso station in Winchester, VA.
He retired, sold his stations and went to work at a car dealership transporting cars and people, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He finally moved to Mechanicsville, VA to be closer to his grandchildren and great grandson.
He is survived by his wife, Lois S. Watkins, his daughter Christine W. Cornwell and her husband Robert, his daughter Amy W. Wolfe and her husband Haven, grandchildren Tyler Wolfe and his wife Allison, Lauryn Wolfe, and his great grandson Evan Wolfe (son of Tyler).
