I know you must miss her every day! She gave all she had to the.children learning violin. My daughter was about 10 when she started and her precious time with Dr O’Boyke was meaningful and memorable. Pat was generous and loving to our daughter and made her feel special and loved. Genuinely the sweetest lady we have ever known. God bless you and keep you. Amen

I used to be a violin student of Dr. Pat's when I still lived in Virginia. I absolutely adored her, and she was the absolute best at what she did. I remember that we had the same birthday month, and she would always come into the birthday book picture with us. I love you so much; thanks for always being there for me. I miss you <3 -Ava

Pat was--is--one of the most remarkable people to have lived in this world: brilliant, unassuming, generous, loving without expectation. Even after too many years of not having seen her, she remains for me one of the best models for a life lived...perfectly.
Maureen Limon left a message on March 15, 2021:
Thank you all for the most kind and loving thoughts and prayers. Our lives will forever be changed with the loss of our Mother. But take comfort in the truth that her spirit, that beautiful , loving spirit, is with God. The greatest gifts we all received was her devotion, love , and compassion. I will not be the same without her, but will be better because of her. I miss you Mom.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to all of Pat's family and friends. We had the honor and blessing of knowing, learning from, working with and performing with her for many years. Here is a video of a song I wrote for Pat some years back I call "Planxty O'Boyle". I play it whenever I perform live. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-wXpRPp2KRy2808sdAadrLEGi2uWKmg3/view?usp=sharing

Glenn, Beth, and Monica Caluda left a message on March 10, 2021:
All of the Caludas were blessed for knowing Pat, spiritually, musically and academically. The love she had for EVERYONE always showed through and was an inspiration for us all. We never saw her without a smile on her face (even if it was wry when irked). Her insatiable hunger for learning, her respect for others, her love for God and family, as well as her "How are ya, Darlin'" will live on in our hearts. We are better for having known Pat O'Boyle. The world has lost a living saint.
Martha Wolfe left a message on March 10, 2021:
Our dear Dr. Pat will always be remembered for her kind and generous soul and her love of music and the violin. I remember one of her young students came to class and said that something was really wrong with his violin and that it made terrible sounds. She listened to him carefully, adjusted a few things and played a few notes that sounded heavenly and said to him, I think it’s all better now. He was thrilled!
