Dr. Bill Sudduth, 65, from Stephens City, VA, was called home into heaven, and fully transitioned to the beginning of a new life with his Lord and savior on the day of his birthday, November 1st 2020. He was born November 1st 1955, raised in Maryland by his mother Judith Ann Mattia and stepfather Edmund Mattia.
Bill was giving everything 200%. Curious of everything and living life to the fullest, he particularly enjoyed the outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman he never ceased to be fascinated by nature.
In 1995 he made a radical encounter with Christ that redirected his heart to also become a fisherman of men.
Someone who had lived several lives and had faced several challenges, he had become one you could turn to about everything and with any type of question, and be able to rely on his wisdom.
Bill is the founder of Righteous Acts Ministries, Inc. He was formerly a member of the pastoral staff and head of the deliverance ministry teams at Brownsville Revival School of Ministry (BRSM) in Pensacola, Fla. Bill was also a member of the faculty at BRSM teaching classes on Spiritual Growth and Spiritual Warfare. Bill’s heart was to see people free of bondages and oppression, healed and delivered so they can become all they were created to be. He ministered nationally and internationally in conferences, seminars, retreats and training sessions on the subjects of deliverance, inner healing, revival and spiritual growth. His heart was consumed by Jesus and he was always prompt to obey God in everything with no consideration for the cost.
Bill is the author of four books, “So Free!”, “The Deliverance Training Manual”, “What’s Behind the Ink?” and “The Restoring of Innocence”. Bill was the head of the International Society of Deliverance Ministers (ISDM) and overseer of other ministers and ministries as the apostolic leader and pastor of the Apostolic Association of Related Ministers (AARM).
He was dearly loved, had impacted thousands of lives and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
His brother Robert Mattia, and stepfather Edmund Mattia preceded him in death.
Surviving him is his mother Judith Mattia, sister Robin Loucks (Michael). He will also be lovingly remembered by his wife Sylvie, son Billy (Stacey) and daughter Robyn as well as by grandchildren Sarah Grace, Bella Joy, Hannah Faith, Jeremiah Benjamin, Josiah David, and Emily Grace but also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 21st, at Inwood Assembly of God Church, 7400 Winchester Avenue, Inwood, West Virginia. Bill’s service can be livestreamed through the following site:
