Dolores Daniel, 86, of Stephens City, VA passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 peacefully at home.

Dolores was born in 1935 in Clifton, NJ to the late John and Irene (Halupka) Benko. She started her career as a ballerina for the Corps de Ballet at Radio City Music Hall and went on to act in multiple Off Broadway Productions. Dolores was a world traveler and lover of life who always said “I could have been somebody.” She was a loving wife, mother and doting grandmother and will greatly be missed by her family.

Dolores married Richard Robert Daniel on June 13, 1959, in Clifton, NJ.

She is survived by her husband Richard; son, Scott Daniel and wife Heather of Ocean, NJ; grandchildren, Jake Daniel Anderson and Sydney Daniel; sisters, Marcia Mann and husband Dr. Francis Mann and Maryann Kaminsky.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, son, Richard Daniel and brothers, John, Robert and Allan.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 5, 2021, from 9am to 10:45 am at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with a service at 11am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Officiating will be Father Stephen Vaccaro.
