Diane Katherine Bunner Kerns, 62, of Winchester, Virginia, died October 16, 2015, at Winchester Medical Center.

Ms. Kerns was born in 1953, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Lester and Juanita Bunner. She was employed as a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn Express in Winchester, Virginia. Diane will be forever remembered for her loving and generous soul. She was devoted to her faith, helping others and her overall love of animals. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her sister, Barbara Rye, of Wardensville, West Virginia, and step-sister, Debbie Mahns, of Luray Virginia.

Ms. Kerns was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Chapman.

All services will be private. Arrangements are handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
