Diana Lynn DeHaven
Diana Lynn Orndoff DeHaven, 61, of Frederick County, VA died Friday, January 22, 2016 at Envoy Nursing and Rehab Facility.
Mrs. DeHaven was born in 1954 in Winchester, VA the daughter of Mary Anna Orndoff and the late Garland “Buddy” Orndoff. She graduated from James Wood High School and attended Dowell J. Howard Vocational School from where she began her career as a licensed beautician. Diana was an office manager in manufacturing (Alliance Material Handling), and office manager for Meadow Gold Ice Cream, as well as a licensed beautician for Westside Beauty Salon. She attended Sherando Presbyterian Church and was a former member of Shawnee Presbyterian Church. Diana enjoyed shopping, spending time with her niece and nephew, and loved to cook and bake. Her most favorite time of year was Christmas, whether she was cooking, baking, or decorating.
Diana married Stephen Howard DeHaven on June 16, 1980 in Winchester, VA.
Surviving with her husband and mother are sisters, Brenda Talbot (Richard “Dick”) and Karen Lockhart (Charles “Kelly”); niece, Katey Lockhart; and nephew, Korey Lockhart.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday with Rev. Richard Slider (Retired from Presbyterian Parrish of the Valley) officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
