David Lynn Sisler, 86 of Winchester VA, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Winchester Health & Rehab.
David was born in 1938 in Hardy County, WV, the son of the late Boyd and Eufa Sisler. He was a graduate of John Handley High School and attended Elon College. David retired as owner of a hair salon. He was a member of the American Legion, Eagles Club, Winchester Moose and an avid golfer.
He married JoAnn Heater on June 13, 1992, in Shenandoah County, VA.
David is survived by wife, JoAnn; daughters, Pam Grim (Pat) of Winchester, VA, Patricia Carter (Clarence) of TN; stepdaughters, Michelle Williams (James) of Huddleston, VA, Terra Zirkle (Dave) of Stephens City, VA, Lisa Casey (Mike) of Charleston, WV; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; his brother, Kenneth Sisler.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Kanotus and Loretta Swartz.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 ,1pm to 3pm at the American Legion Post 21, Winchester, VA.
