David John Livingston, 65 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at English Meadows.
Dave was born in 1960 in Fairbanks, AK, the son of the late Robert Alfred Livingston and Joan Amelia Lee Livingston. He was a graduate of Liverpool High School in New York, Class of 1978 where he participated in ROTC. In his early years, Dave held a certificate in welding and plumbing in New York and worked as a plumber. He also worked as a warehouse manager for Shade Equipment and as an Installer for Fire Suppression Company. Dave was an animal lover of dogs, cats, and horses. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman who enjoyed target practice with his special nephew, Dale Luther.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie whom he married on January 24, 1991; sister, Jana Lee Livingston Luther of Lake Frederick, VA; brother, Raymond Arlo Livingston (Jon Connor) of Front Royal, VA; canine companion, his boxer, Maggie and numerous beloved nieces and nephews; sister in law, Sandra DeHaven (Allen) of Winchester, VA; niece, Michelle Boone (Jamie) of Winchester, VA and their daughter Rebecca; nephew, William DeHaven (Rhonda) of Winchester, VA, and their son Ethan.
A visitation will be held for Dave on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 6pm to 8pm with a service the following day, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 11am all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dave to Ebenezer Christian Church, 2158 Ebenezer Church Rd., Gore, VA 22637 or to an animal rescue of the donor’s choice.
