I will always remember Uncle Courtney as one of the positive male role-models of my life. He showed me strength and character while being kind and gentle. Young and old alike would always find a friend in Uncle Courtney. A pillar of strength in family values with a child's gentle heart. Denis Link Nephew

A life time of memories: Sundays of horse back riding at MaMaw and Papa's; sitting in the swing and watching you whittle a twig; butchering day when I was young; endless holidays and picnics - A life time of memories! You always remembered me with dozens of neices and nephews. Rest in peace and give my mom a big hug for me!

Steve, I was saddened when I became aware that you father had passed away. I remember meeting him this past fall when we visited your Mom and Dad after picking apples. It was such a lovely day. Your parents were very thoughtful to us and I enjoyed sharing conversation with them. Losing a parent is a sad experience and a deep loss but my prayer for you is that the good memories of your father will give you solace. Glynette Bowers Brown
