Charlotte S. Baker, 91 of Stephens City, VA, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at her home.
Charlotte was born in 1933 in Hayfield, VA, the daughter of the late Turner and Artie Sirbaugh. She was a graduate of John Handley High School. She worked as a bank teller at Western Frederick Bank and the Bank of Romney from where she retired and then worked as an assistant teacher at Abundant Life Church.
She is survived by her children, Susan Lynch (Rick), Donna Baker and B.C. Baker III (Wendy); grandchildren, Carissa Battle (Luke), Serrina Alvarado (Isaac), Lucas Leps, Brittany Berry (Josh), Ellis Bonavida (Brad), Madison Baker (Pete), B.C. Baker IV, Chris Cockerham (Alex), Tori Steber (Todd) and Emily Cockerham; 8 great-grandchildren and her brother, Stewart Sirbaugh.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Francis Strother and brothers, Charles and Douglas Sirbaugh.
A visitation will be held for Charlotte on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm and Monday, October 21, 2024, from 12pm to 1pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. A committal service will be conducted on Monday October 21, 2024, at 1pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Entombment will be private.
