Carol Cory Ebert, 99, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her home.
Mrs. Ebert was born in 1922, in New York, New York the daughter of the late Mae Belle and Homer Cory. She was a graduate of the University of Arizona receiving a Bachelor’s Degree. Mrs. Ebert was a retired Travel agent serving several agencies.
Her husband, Harry Windsor Ebert, Jr., whom she married on June 23, 1945, preceded her in death on August 17, 2014.
Surviving is daughter, Deirdre Ebert Bauserman (William) of Winchester, VA; son, Harry Windsor Ebert III (Marianne) of Salem, VA; grandchildren, William D. Bauserman (Karen) of Stephens City, VA, Bryan C. Bauserman (Sabra) of Strasburg, VA, Elizabeth B, Strader (John) of Glen Allen, VA, Keith W. Lyons of Philadelphia, PA, Kristen C, Lyons of Marblehead, MA; great grandchildren, Robyn Bonilla, Katelyn Dellinger, Courtney Bauserman-Villa, Carson Bauserman, Lindsey Bakov, Caroline Bauserman, Jack Strader, Meredith Strader; great great grandchildren, Addy Bauserman, Lucas Bonilla; and son-in-law, James Lyons of Fairfax, VA.
Along with her parent and husband, Carol is preceded in death by her daughter, Megan Ebert Lyons.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2022, from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Westminster Canterbury, with Pastor Elizabeth Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, VA.
