Brian M. Bayliss
Brian Matthew Bayliss, 35, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Monday, June 10, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.
Brian was born in 1978, in Woodstock, Virginia, the son of Bentley B. Bayliss of Winchester and Robin Dixon Bayliss of Stephens City, Virginia. He was the owner and engineer of Red Velvet Recording in Winchester and the founder/drummer of the band, Monolith. Brian was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 1996. He attended Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown, Virginia.
Surviving with his parents are two sons, Collin Daniel Bayliss and London James Bayliss, both of Stephens City, Virginia; brother, Eric James Bayliss and wife, Renee, of Stephens City, nephew, Phoenix Lazer Bayliss; and grandmother, Emma Conner of Stephens City, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin Conner, E.E. and Mary Bayliss and uncles, Hugh Dixon and Shotsie Bayliss.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be private.
