Bessie was my former mother-in-law and grandmother to my children Billy and Jeannie. She was a lovely person who enjoyed her family and taking care of them. I enjoyed many years with her and Boyd. We spent many wonderful days camping with both of them, and also with all of her brothers and sisters. When she was part of the Fairfax county school system, I remember her telling me that many of the school children that she knew appreciated her and loved her. She was at the school for a long time. Her other former daughter-in-law, Gloria, also told me that she was such a nice lady and she had enjoyed being friends with her, as well as being her daughter-in-law. Bessie will be missed by those who loved her. Her grandson Billy adored her and will miss her dearly. May you rest in peace Bessie and I know you will be welcomed home by all of your loved ones. God Bless! Barbara LaMarche
