BellAnn L. Parsons

            BellAnn Lorena “Bell”(Orrison) Parsons, 73, of Winchester, VA died Monday, April 27, 2015 at her home.

            Mrs. Parsons was born in 1942 in Loudoun County, VA, daughter of the late Frederick E. and Frances L. Orrison. She was employed as an inspector for American Woodmark in Berryville, VA and was a deli associate for Food Lion. She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

            She is survived by four daughters, JoeAnn Schwartz of Bradenton, FL,  Kara-Jo Carter and Kimberly Parsons, both of Manassas, VA   and Marla Zimmermann of Winchester, VA; 15 grandchildren and many loving great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

            The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

            A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Van Marsceau officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to Omps Funeral Home with “In memory of BellAnn Parsons,” on the memo line.

She was one of my best friends. She made everyone laugh. She was always happy and loved her family very much. She was mischievious and we all loved that about her. I worked with her for 17 years and we stayed friends after that. She picked out a name for my son which was using his dad's name and part of my dad's name and she came up with Anthony Jackson (AJ) which was so special to me. I love her and miss her very much!

My sister was a hard working lady who had to support her family on her own which she did with loving care. God granted me time to spend with my sister on so many occasions. She and I would go to lunch, shop and spend time talking about the crazy years we had growing up together. We relived so many happy times together that I will always be so grateful for.
