Barbara Ann Buck, 91 of Stephenson, VA, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Barb was born in 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Felix and Elizabeth Obringer. After her parents passing, Barb was raised by Aunt Katie and Uncle Bill Sommers. She was a member of the NN Women’s Club. Barb loved going to the beach, cruising and traveling with her family. Barb also enjoyed playing cards, bowling, crafting, shopping and going to the casino. She had a love for animals, especially “Simba”. Most of all Barb loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and extended family.

She married Clair F. Buck on August 19, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2021.

Barb is survived by her daughters, Sandy Herman, Becky Dings (John), Debbie Powell (Henry), grandchildren, Tiffany (Chris), Andrew, and Tyler (Jes) as well as many other great and great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barb is preceded in death by her sons, Steven and Timothy Buck; sisters, Mary Smith, Rosine “Rose” Michel and her brother, Richard Obringer.

A Committal Service at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1158 Morgan Rd., Bridgeville, PA 15017 will be held on May 9, 2025, at 2:30PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:30PM at Cefalo’s Banquet and Event Center located at 428 Washington Ave., Carnegie, PA 15106.
