Anne Marie Daylor
Anne Marie Daylor, 86, of Winchester, VA, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Daylor was born in 1929 and grew up in Tiverton, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late William J. and Evelyn E. Flynn. Mrs. Daylor was a graduate of Notre Dame College of Baltimore. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mrs. Daylor was active in the Women’s Auxiliary, Glen Burnie Garden Club, JFK Memorial Bridge Club, and supporter of Winchester Day Nursery.
Her husband of 63 years, David J. Daylor, preceded her in death on June 6, 2015.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Daylor Fusco of Winchester, VA and Kathryn Daylor of Annandale, VA; one son, David J. Daylor, Jr. and his wife Mary Lou of Winchester, VA; five grandchildren, John, Jennifer, David III, Logan and Cole; four great grandchildren, Essence, Errance, Emerson and Lydia.
Mrs. Daylor was preceded in death by sister, Joy Michaud and brother, William J. Flynn, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m., at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Friday at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Stanley J. Krempa officiating.
