Andrew B. “Andy” Lowder
Andrew Bryce “Andy” Lowder, 31, of Frederick County, Virginia, began his new life on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Frederick County, Virginia.
Mr. Lowder was born in 1982, in Knoxville, Tennessee, the son of John H. and Gina Johnson Lowder, Jr. of Frederick County. He was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 2000, and was employed as a heavy equipment operator. Andy had a passion for the outdoors he loved being outside, hunting and fishing. He loved nothing more than sitting on the bank of the river with his dogs Tucker and Daisy. Andy loved all his family and friends but was especially close with his brothers John and Daniel. He will be forever remembered for his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Surviving with his parents are two brothers, John Henry Lowder, III and wife, Amanda, of Carey Idaho, Daniel Brent Lowder and wife, Lindsay, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; paternal grandmother, Ann Eutsler Lowder of Nebo, North Carolina; maternal grandparents, Marie Gibbs Johnson of Asheville, North Carolina and James Emmett Johnson of Drexel, North Carolina.
His paternal grandfather, John Henry Lowder, preceded him in death.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday at First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Dan McCoig officiating. Interment will be private.
