It was my privilege to work with Ana when we were both in Isle of Wight. She was an amazing teacher as well as role model and mentor to many in the special ed department. When I became Special Education Director I recruited her to lead the newly created Transition / Job Coach program. She was a mighty department of one but managed to implement programs that impacted students beyond graduation. I feel fortunate to have become friends with her and Jerry outside of work. Our times together will always be cherished by wife and I. We are heartbroken over your loss. May Ana's memory be eternal.

to Jerry, Christa. Adrien And family I am not sure if I can express how much Ana meant to me. But I will try….. Ana was the epitome of professionalism and kindness. I treasure the years we worked together. working for Ana was a blessing I was lucky to know and love Ana. She was more than a role model and a mentor. She was a big sister. Everyone should have a role model, like Ana. When Ana became the Director of transition for Isle of Wight County schools, she gave me an opportunity. she believed in me and always encouraged me. She was the most positive influence , and her kindness was her trademark. I will never forget the advice she gave me as a military, mom and new grandmother. I will miss our chats . I will always feel Ana‘s spirit in my heart. She was a true legend, one of a kind.♥️
