Alice Mae Plum
Alice Mae Boyce Plum, 59, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. Plum was born in 1950, in Frederick County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Branson and Twilby Boyce. She was a homemaker and was employed by Berryville Graphics in production. Mrs. Plum was a member of Kernstown United Methodist Church, Kernstown, Virginia.
She married Frank Eugene Plum on July 3, 1992, in Winchester, Virginia. She was previously married to Eddie McFarland, Sr. of Middletown, Virginia.
The struggle was hard, the battle was long, but the will to live was always strong. Go with God, We love you.
Surviving with her husband, is her daughter, Crystal Viands and her husband, Kenny, of Winchester, Virginia; son, Eddie McFarland, Jr. and his wife, Mandy, of Clearbrook, Virginia; two grandchildren, Cassie Viands and Eddie McFarland III; six sisters, Betty Kerns, Patsy Braithwaite, Jane Estes, Helen McFarland, Gloria Jenkins all of Frederick County, Virginia, Debbie McFarland of Winchester, Virginia, Sarah Ramey of Culpeper, Virginia, Bonnie Clark of Inwood, West Virginia; brother, Paul Boyce of Painesville, Ohio; and adopted brother, Steve Barton of Winchester, Virginia.
One brother, Lawerence Boyce and one sister Mary Hillyard preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, at 2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Clay Knick officiating. Interment will be in Lamps Memorial Cemetery, Frederick County, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be her immediate family.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
